AMD Crosses a 30% Client CPU Market Share Against Intel

For the first time, AMD’s share of the x86 client CPU market, covering both mobile and desktop, has crossed 30%, according to Mercury Research, which tracks the processor shipments. AMD’s share of client CPU for x86 processors reached 30.3% in Q2 against Intel’s 69.7%, Mercury Research said in a research note on Thursday.
